LOOK WHO’S JOINING ALAN JACKSON AT HIS LAST CALL: ONE MORE FOR THE ROAD – THE FINALE
One month from today, all eyes will be on Nashville, Tennessee as Alan Jackson’s Last Call: One More for the Road – The Finale presented by Edward Jones and Silverbelly Whiskey takes place…with two of country music’s finest joining the icon at the final full-length concert of his career!
George Strait – the unambiguous "King of Country Music," with over 100 million RIAA certifications while earning more than 60 major entertainment industry awards – and Lainey Wilson – the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year who continues to captivate the world, capturing the hearts of fans and respect of her peers – are the latest superstars added to the list of those who’ll join Jackson to celebrate the end of his touring career at the sold-out concert on Saturday, June 27 at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium, home of the Tennessee Titans.
Musical peers Strait and Jackson have teamed up many times. Their history includes the duets “Designated Drinker” and the CMA Award-winning “Murder on Music Row”…a concert album and DVD with the late Jimmy Buffett…and more. After the passing of George Jones in 2013, the two Country Music Hall of Fame members performed an unforgettable duet of “He Stopped Loving Her Today” at that year’s CMA Awards…and they teamed up again for a show-stopping medley of Jackson’s “Remember When” and Strait’s “Troubadour” a decade ago as the CMA Awards celebrated its 50th anniversary.
Wilson has a long-standing appreciation for Jackson and his music. She was part of the all-star lineup that saluted Jackson when he received the Country Music Association’s Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2022 CMA Awards, performing “Chasin’ That Neon Rainbow” before joining him (and others) on an all-star rendition of “Don’t Rock the Jukebox.”
They’ll be part of an all-star lineup of artists joining Jackson to celebrate his career and legacy at this last full-length performance of his touring career. Previously announced participants include Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Riley Green, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Jake Owen, Jon Pardi, Thomas Rhett, Carrie Underwood and Lee Ann Womack…along with Adam Wright, Big City Brian Wright and Carlisle Wright.
Jackson’s touring career has taken his catalog of true country music from coast-to-coast countless times…crossed Canada from sea-to-sea…and even made its way to such far-reaching places as Australia, Brazil, and Europe. Over the last four years, his Last Call: One More for the Road tour played to sellout and capacity concerts.
