ALAN JACKSON PLAYS TO OVER 30,000 IN SCANDINAVIA

NASHVILLE, Tenn.  (Aug. 16, 2011)  Country music superstar Alan Jackson just returned from a Scandinavian tour which included three shows in Sweden and Norway. During the run, Jackson played to more than 30,000 enthusiastic fans. Songs like "Good Time" and "Remember When" were clear crowd favorites, as was his current hit "Long Way to Go," which had people dancing and singing along. In Norway crowds were especially moved, as Jackson paid tribute to victims of recent bombing and shooting tragedies in the country, during his performance of “Where Were You (When The World Stopped Turning).” At both shows, the names of those who lost their lives were shown on the video screens against a backdrop of roses and the Norwegian flag.
