Six Flags proudly announced the winner of the nationwide "The Good Time Country Contest With Alan Jackson And Six Flags", Kimberly Johnson. She is an active-duty military mother stationed at Fort Sam Houston Army Post who has served her country in Iraq. She will be graduating from nursing school later this month. While she grew up listening to the music of Alan Jackson, Kimberly entered not for herself, but for her own mother, JoAnne Blakely, a long-time fan of the country artist. JoAnne, a mother of three and grandmother of six, has never seen Alan Jackson live in concert nor has she even taken a vacation. "She is the most hard working, humble and unselfish person I know," said Kimberly.
Even condominium cowboys who keep their hats in the closet most of the week and hit the bars on weekends can relate to Alan Jackson's recent hit single, "Small Town Southern Man."
