ALAN JACKSON HEADLINES CANCER BENEFIT

NASHVILLE, Tenn.  (March 28, 2011) Superstar Alan Jackson will be performing a local “Coming Home Concert” at the Rogersville Middle School in Rogersville, Tennessee organized by Rogersville's own Charlie Chase to benefit the American Cancer Society’s “Relay for Life of Hawkins County” on April 14.  Tickets sold out immediately after going on sale, as people jumped at the chance to see Jackson perform in an intimate, unique setting while also raising money for the cause.

Jackson was asked to participate by Chase – the veteran country music radio and TV personality will be hosting the event. “Relay for Life” is an initiative of the American Cancer Society that raises funds and involves communities in the fight against cancer. More than 4-million events are held in more than 5,000 communities throughout the U.S. each year.

Alan Jackson would have never said no to such a concert for a great benefit. Mr. Jackson is one of the best country music stars that there is. They don't make that quality of men anymore. Alan Jackson Rocks!!!

We lost my 27 year old niece two years ago to cancer. Thank you for doing this concert! Would you be willing to come to MN in August for ours???? :) God bless you for your sharing your gift of music for this cause. Sam's (Samantha Rae) parents will never get over this loss but if we can all pitch in for cure; what a wonderful blessing we can be!
