Alan's First Australia Tour Stop - Melbourne!

Alan Jackson launched his first tour of Australia by playing to a sold-out crowd at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne. The fans were on their feet from the very first note to the last and sang along on every song. Alan was visibly humbled and overwhelmed by the crowd participation.

On Sunday Alan headlines CMC Rocks the Hunter Festival in Hunter Valley, then on to Sydney on Monday, with a three night stand in Brisbane later in the week. All six shows sold out in minutes when tickets went on sale last fall – Jackson’s tour is the biggest country outing to hit Australia in nearly 20 years.

Alan has scored nearly 40 Top 10 hits in Australia, with 15 of them going all the way to #1! His biggest songs “down under” include “Good Time,” “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere,” “Little Bitty” and “I’ll Go On Loving You” – each spent a month at the top of the Australian charts.

We have been Alan Jackson fans since we first heard of him. We were lucky enough to attend 2 of the 3 concerts in Brisbane and were amazed by Alan's performance. Thank you Alan for giving us a few hours of your God given voice and you truly are a wonderful southern gentlemen. Please don't make it another 20 years before you come back to Australia.

i have been a fan since alan first started and have been waiting for 20 years to see him.. he was well worth the wait i tell you...it was just fantastic loved the whole show in brisbane australia.will deffinetly catch up again.. maybe even in usa next year.

I traveled from a small town in South Australia to see the concert which was worth the wait. Loved every minute of the show. It was Fantastic. Thanks Alan for 20 years of hits.

concert was awesome and well worth the hike... we love Alan Jackson in Australia its just a pity he didnt play on the west coast.....many people were not lucky enough to make the hike over to the eastern states
