ALAN JACKSON LEAVES LONGTIME LABEL
Alan Jackson
announced today that he’s left his longtime record label, Arista Nashville, but
he’s already looking ahead to the future!
“I’ve had a great run
with Arista, going all the way back to the beginning of my career,” Alan says.
“I’ve gotten to work with some real great people along the way and we
accomplished a lot. It just seems to me like the time may be right to change
things up a bit and see what comes next.”
Jackson was the first
artist signed to Arista Nashville after the label was founded in 1989. He’s
gearing up for the first leg of his 2011 tour with sold-out shows in Canada
followed by his highly-anticipated first tour of Australia. He is currently
writing and working on songs for his upcoming new album – stay
tuned!

| One night I was forwarding your youtube videos to my brother who is just beginning to like country...I was in my son (age7) room cause he really struggles with falling asleep. He fell asleep rather quickly( I thought due to my presence in the room). The next night I did the same set up and he said
"Mommy please put on Alan Jackson again, it really calms me and lets me sleep"- I was surprised he was aware of what I have known about your voice and talent to write-it is beautiful! Thank you! |
