On Sunday, April 11, 2010 Mr. Alan
Jackson and Company came to
Greenville, SC. What an exciting night. The
only down side to this whole night was that will all the songs he sang, Freight
Train was not one of them. All in all, we had a great evening of good country
music.

go every time he's in western /upstate NY and sometimes other places also. Its
always a " good time":)

Two of us drove 6 hours from Lima, OH and then all of us drove 1-1/2 hours from Johnstown, PA to see the Freight Train Tour at the Bryce Jordan Center, University Park/State College, PA. We got to meet Chris Young back stage and was the best birthday present to myself. We missed a family wedding but it was an amazing concert.

We were driving from CT to VA (three days after seeing Alan in concert in
Uncasville, CT) and saw his trucks in Wilkes Barre, PA! We stopped at Starbucks
for a break and the trucks were all lined up across from there.

My Aunt Eleanor and I drove from Boston MA to Manchester NH during rush hour, to see Alan on May 13. It was my first concert obtaining Fan Club preferred seating. I am still on cloud nine, and I took lots of pictures to show all Alan's fans at work. Thank you so much for the opportunity to enjoy such a fabulous concert up close and meet some of his other fans. Alan, please come to Boston next year.

| My Grandma got tickets and put in for a meet and greet for the concert. We were so excited when we got the email for the meet and greet.... I am a big fan and was excited when I got to finally meet him. I am only 10 years old and he looked so tall when I looked up at him and asked if he could sign my shirt. He said "sure sweetie" touched my shoulder and I was gleaming with excitement. I was so happy when my grandma said she got tickets and said she would rather see Alan Jackson than go to her 35th Class Reunion. She's a bigger fan than me. She got to meet and talk to Alan Jackson in 1990 when he opened for The Judds in Saginaw, Michigan. She said I would have a memory I would never forget, just like she has. During the concert, I was close to the stage and Alan Jackson smiled and waved at me when he saw me. I will never forget that night and I will continue to be a BIG ALAN JACKSON FAN FOREVER! |

| The 8pm show was postponed for apprx. 1 hour but the wait was worth it. I initally didn't have tickets to the show. The casion doors were open to the direction of the concert and I decided to get some fresh air and listen to the music. A couple leaving saw me standing near the fence and asked if I wanted their tickets..that another hour of the show was to be had... my luck outside of the casino...happy days. I had now had seats for RR#9&10 but chose to stand up front to the right side. What a beautiful voice Alan has. I thought I was in heaven. Thankyou to the couple who gave me tickets as I didn't even know initially that Alan was their in concert. Kindness prevails.. thank You!!! |

First this festival is one of the biggest country festival in Canada. And to have the chance to see Alan Jackson live performance at St-Tite it's unreal. I had the chance few years ago to see Garth Brooks world tour show in Montréal. I realy hope that one day M. Jackson will stop in Montréal for a show. I'm sure He will be surprise to realise how many country fans live's here like Garth was!!

| That was the most personal and warm concert I've been to. It was upbeat all the way. The audience loved it and were dancing all over the place. I missed seeing the tour trucks this time because that place is so big and I'm from MI, not CT. I was visiting my daughter and had never see their home either. What a special trip. | drove 2 1/2 hours from Jersey to see the show. He opened with a bit from "Gone Country" then proceded to illustrate why this man should be THE FACE and THE VOICE of country music to those who shun it. Woodstock vet, jazz radio DJ, and clasical listener, I prefer the honest white-soul music of a man who can truly span generations of folks. The Mohegan Sun Arena was packed with country fans, but when Jackson appeared we all sensed we were in the presence of someone historic. As he went through his hits we were fulfilled.
As he threw his guitar picks to the crowd, he paid tribute like no entertainer I've seen. Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jerry Garcia, Chick Corea, Cannonball Adderley, geniuses all. But to entertain with such quality for so many years demands attention, and not some 2000th star in a sidewalk. His music is a medicine for so many, a call to party for some, but a sign most importantly, that country has reached a stage of sophistication that has until now, been shuffled aside.
He is Sinatra, Pavarotti, Vandross, Billy Joel with a song, and he writes most of them. What a giant. At 6 foot whatever he dominates the stage, yet never his band. The boys are so efficient and tight their presence seems as if we're in the studio, recording. What's the sound of six guitars playing? Awesome. Throw in the pedal steel, the flatop, banjo, mandolin, and delicious fiddle chops and we have an act that will produce for many years.
Finishing with Great Balls of Fire, he signed hats, shirts and boots for five mintes as the hot band played. I've never seen anything like it.

| My son, Alan, and I went to see Alan J. in Alpharetta on 04/10/2010.
We had wonderful seats center orch. row 2 seats 3&4. I like Alan's concerts because he keeps it simple, he just comes on stage and sings his wonderful songs. My favorite part was when he and some of the band sat down and Alan tells stories about the songs and then sings them. He needs to keep that up it was truly awesome. I went in the hospital on 04/12/2010 for total knee replacement. I am so happy I got to spend time with both my Alans. I have seen Alan 5 times and I will go to see him everytime he comes to Atlanta until I die. His is the only fan club I have joined or will ever join. He is my favorite country music star and the only singer my son and I both like. Thanks Alan for a very enjoyable evening. You're the greatest. Keep those great songs coming. |
