From tasteofcountry.com:

http://tasteofcountry.com/alan-jackson-things/

Note: I found two errors in the article. It is stated there that Alan and Denise wil be celebrating their 23rd anniversary this year. They were married in 1979, so, it's actually their 33rd anniversary. Also on the list in regards to Alan's favorite adult drink (Jack Daniels), it is stated that he has not done a "tribute" song on it. Actually he has, sort of. It is mentioned in the chorus of the song, EVERYTHING I LOVE. I also want to note here among their list of 10 AJ Facts...his appearance as a country singer on the tv series, MATLOCK in 1992. I watched that show every week nights it came on and don't remember seeing Alan there. I, however, remember his appearance on the tv show HOME IMPROVEMENT. Hmmm.... Maybe I'll go ahead and get me a copy of the MATLOCK DVD collection series. Also, wasn't Alan a contestant on TNN's YOU CAN BE A STAR singing talent show? According to their list, though, he appeared there not as a contestant but a singer who sang to take the show into commercial break. I think I'm a little confused here.

Ok, you all take a look at this list of AJ fun facts that you may not know or heard of.

Enjoy reading!

Don't know about the other tv shows , however on You can be a star - he just sang from the audience going into a commerical break.

Last night I saw AJ for the second time - in Lowell, Mass.  Somebody yelled out, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ALAN!"  He chuckled and said he doesn't celebrate his birthday any longer.  It was cute - I bet his wife and kids do something for his birthday every year even if it's a small family thing.

That is a cute story about his response to the Happy Birthday yell.
