Hi: Yes the meet and greet is separate from the admission to the show. But in order to get to the meet and greet, you need to have a ticket to the show. I too hope he or she made it to the show. Not just because of the m&g, but because it was awesome. I had row 3 and ran to the stage. I just love this man, every song is gold. My only complaint, or disappointment was at the very end. I collect belt buckles and hopefully get it signed at each concert i go to. I have brooks and dunn, brad paisley, miranda lambert and many more. I handed my steerhorn buckle to the guy helping alan sort out things to sign, and because it was i guess "too small" he handed it back to me with a look of discuss. I was deeply saddened by this. I am sorry, but please, people were giving boots and bras and purses. These were okay? The only thing that put a smile back on my face, was Monty. After the show he came forward and signed it. Even if it was too small.  Thank you monty, for making the evening perfect!!!!

My only complaint was I thought it was too short.  He only played for just over an hour.  Usually the shows are 1-1/2 to 2 hours long.  That is alot of money to spend for just an hour of a show.

But from my understanding, you have to get into the venue WITH a ticket, and THEN you line up in the proper meet and greet area.
And did I understand you correctly?  You received TWO meet and greet passes?  what's up with that?!
And you can only sign up once per membership year.  Hope you got to use your passes because this would be your only chance until you re-up your membership.

Randogs, I hope you went to your M&G, even if you did not have tickets.  You are allowed to have the M&G without a ticket to the show.  BHR, I think you misunderstood what the rules are saying.  It says to get into the show you need to buy those tickets separately.  Just because you got the M&G doesn't mean you have seats for the show. You can just have the M&G and no tickets to the show.

I copy this from the rules:
•The Meet and Greet pass cannot be used for admission into the show and is non-transferrable. You must purchase a ticket to the show separately.

Anita, I don't know if you have ever had won a M&G, but, as Shadylady and AlanfanBecky has said, you can not go to a M&G with Alan without a ticket to his show as you have to go inside the venue to get to the M&G area and you will not be let in without a ticket to the show (Shadylady and AlanfanBecky, thank you both for explaining that and I appreciate it). That is clearly stated in the M&G list of rules, so, I'm neither wrong nor did I misunderstood the rules and I stand by what I previously told Randog71. The rule you pointed out actually meant that you can not use your M&G pass to attend the show. . .you will not be let in with it. I hope she/he was able to secure tickets to the show so she/he didn't miss out on the M&G with Alan. Otherwise, it will be a shame.

AlanfanBecky, no, you can only win one M&G pass, however, you can have a guest with you at the M&G. My autistic son, who is a great fan of Alan's, won one last year and I went with him. I got included in the photo shoot in the process. It was an awesome experience. You must be confusing this with the Front Row Tickets contest where you will win 2 front row seat tickets if your entry is chosen.

It turned out the tickets I won were not front row.  I got an email from Cindy on Friday telling me that there had been a mix-up.  The tickets I got were in section F3 row 6.  They were still great seats and my stepson and his wife enjoyed the show.  I thought that Alan seemed a little tired and lack lustre.  The show last summer at the Rexall Centre was way better and much more fun and energetic.  Maybe because it was open air on a hot summer night.
