Schmidt RelationsAlan Jackson re-releases his platinum-selling gospel album, Precious Memories, this week due to popular demand. The CD has been out of print for awhile now, and Alan says, "We've just had so many people still wanting it. It's just amazing. That thing has sold and sold."

Alan first recorded the project after years of pestering about it from his mother Ruth. She's getting pretty elderly now, and Alan would like to do second gospel album for her pretty soon.

"I need to do that," says Alan. "Doesn't take but a minute to record that thing. It's so simple."

Alan's new single, "So You Don't Have to Love Me Anymore," is now climbing the country chart. It will be included on Alan's new studio album, due out later this year.
