This an FYI to make you all aware of in regards to the tv broadcast of both "When Pop Culture Saved America" and "A Concert of Hope".
"When Pop Culture Saved America"
As AlanfanBecky had alerted us all last week, BIO CHANNEL and not A&E will be broadcasting tonight "When Pop Culture Saved America". Please be all be aware of that. I apologize for possibly having mislead you all on my previous postings on this. I just posted what I read/found online. Just for the records, A&E used to be also the same channel as BIO up until maybe 5 or 10 years ago. Thanks for alerting us on this, AlanfanBecky.
"A Concert for Hope"
AlanfanBecky posted yesterday on the LIVE SHOW And TOUR DISCUSSION section of this forum that both her local ABC affiliates will not be airing this special concert event. I decided to check the ABC network's website and see what's going on. Here's my response to her post with the detail:
"AlanfanBecky, I'm not sure what is going on with the ABC network, but I just checked their website and there's not one single mention of that special event concert. I also did check their tv schedule program listing and "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" is listed for that hour instead of the concert. I went to their contact page and sent a message inquiring about this and thus far have only received their automated response to inquiries sent them stating that they can not send individual respond due to the volume of messages they receive, so, I don't know if I'll hear from them again. Maybe, if a lot of us sends them a message on these regard, they might actually respond to one of us and at least clear up the confusion. Thanks for posting your message. This is very concerning. Everyone of us here, I'm sure, would want to be able to watch this. If bad comes to worse, we all can just watch the streaming of it online, I suppose. Sad too."
I would suggest that you all check your local ABC tv listing and see if it's listed there. If not, you may go to ABC.com if you would like to send them a message like I did. . .go to Contact ABC, listed at the bottom of the homepage. Thanks, again, AlanfanBecky for your post.
