Great review Teri.  It was good to meet you and Jeri.  My family and I had a GOOD TIME we all enjoyed helping with the GOOD TIME signs.

I finally post, we didn't get home intil about 3 Am today, stopped to get gas etc.. so tired

Alan and the Strayhorns were really good. My husband even commented he like this show better than  any he had been to w/me.

I must say, the venue is pretty nice but  Alan's performances  He is always Great. my hubby just got to hear the  Mercury song, he loved it..I love some set lists better than others but Always love Alan !!
This show was much more uptempo and people were singing along and just having fun.. We talked to people sitting by Us and I told them all I knew about our Guy Alan !
So good to see Terry and know she got there ok.I went up front to give her a  mothely hug ha! She was up with friends doing the signs etc.. .I am exhausted today, but will write a review later. Patti nice to meet you, even if we were not close  to you upfront.
Our row was 6, but we enjoyed it this time as hubby made a few photos. He liked where we were.
It was so funny an older man in front of us, just danced and danced to Alan's Music. he was having a ball by himseft. he could really dance. lol
We ate before the show but we didn't run into Terry or patti then. Will try and write a review later w/photos but my Son is visiting w/babies. Terry great to see you again girl!
Take care all of you and Yes! Alan put on a fantastic Concert. So many younger people was singing along in front of us, and really enjoying the music.. The uptempo ones seem to really get the younger people liking his music more..Loved all the songs myself
One thing I do remember Alan said as he was about to leave the Concert, that reminded me of my dad saying this. Alan waved and said "Be Sweet". he also said he had been fishing that day and went down the ST Johns river. which is near us

I was so lucky to get to be part of meet & greet in Orillia, Ontario at Casino Rama on Sept. 24th.  I was so excited and nervous.  I have been a fan of Alan's for more years than I can remember.  
I am really having a hard time getting into the photos for Meet & Greet, web site is on back of pic he gave us but it doesn't seem to take me to the photos.  Can anyone help.  I want to have photo of myself with Alan to show all my kids when they come on Sunday for dinner.

Great about your son! Please thank him for us for serving. Still praying for his safe return. My nephew still overseas and it is
terrrible the things we take forgrated , they do without.
So happy your test came back ok, you take care and feel  better soon. You need rest, all the moving has been too much too soon for you I'm sure. I hope you enjoy where you live and feel better soon..
We go to Hollywood first, then to St Augustine. I really do not feel well but I'm not about to miss seeing Alan. I have asthma bad recently.,a little concerned about my first outdoor venue, if the heat is too bad, we may have to leave.. I use all kinds of meds but I can't take too much heat.

I wish you had gone to the emergency room, Did they give you antibiotics , they would have started a drip there most likely & you would feel better quickly. This new flu , most do not always have high fevers..I forgot, you are a nurse. I'm only mother hen here..
Please take care and if you don't feel better insist on antibiotics at least.. You have been ill too long.. Hugs and prayers to you.

Sue so sorry for all your stress too, so many schools having problems. I know it has been disheartning for you, so sorry.
My teens have not had any problems here with their schools, but some other schools are. a shame..
Terry, I wish you good luck with your work. I feel so guilty wanting my husband to retire and others having problems keeping work.
It's a sad time for all over the world, disasters , war.. we must pray for all concerned. always remembering our Troops!

I have been to the places you are showing but nice to see them again. Some people haven't and they will enjoy your nice photos.

Patti, opps I slipped I knew it was an indoor , we have been there before. I was thinking of the St Augustine one. I guess
my son's surprise that they would be dropping by about the time for the St Augustine one, I lost my mind lol. I want to see the babies so bad , just wasn't thinking they would bring others with them.
we are pretty close in Hollywood not sure exactly where the seats are. we will find them. The BO is open Noon to 7PM for will call, I hope Terry will make it. Patti I hope to see you & Terry!

It's supposed to be cooler at night Yea! for the St Augustine one at least.. maybe I can stay the whole Concert and not get asthma. Sorry for the mistake but that phone call really messed our plans up. we had intended to stay for our Anniversary, now we will have to come  back , oh well. At least I get to see Babies lol  don't get to see them often .

Terry be careful traveling. This will be three times we have seen you! It seems our seats get further away from one another. Ours this time I think is row H, in the pit..area. Seeing & hearing Alan for so long. I told my hubby it was the happiest Day of my life, and my sister said " well what about your  wedding or when your children were born ha" I said the wedding was scary and pain was involved having my children lol

This is so exciting!

Jean/B , you are exactly right about Nashville! I have been to all the places you visited. lol we go there a lot to visit relatives.
we stayed at the Gaylord right by the mall for Christmas and that was terrific! we took the boat ride inside and watched the shows etc..went to the Ryman and took a ride on the Riverboat and had dinner. I wish Pontus had time to go to the LOVELESS CAFE, it the best country food, Alan just visited there rencently, his photo is there. we've gone  there several times.
I hope we can go to the KingFish Grill & see him and His new wife but our son is due to come by and we may run out of time. this
is when we go to St Augustine soon. Hope to see a lot of Fans there!

Congrats to both of you for your Meet and Greets. I doubt anyone ever says exactly what they plan lol after seeing Alan
standin g there waiting for them.  I am so happy for both your experiences. Sounds very nice! You will relive it over & over..
