Hi all.....well I just got the latest newsletter today and there was the picture of my Alan birthday cake.  I never received an email stating it would be in nor the 10.00 certificate.  At least Alan got to see my cake...YEE HAW!

So happy for you Becky.  It will be 3 years on the 25th that I had mine and I remember every single second as if it were yesterday.  It is certainly one of the highlights I think in all of us who meet him. Good for you.

[Hello everyone,Yes the summer is half over but I am glad as it is HOT here in Ontario. A/C runs continually. Where are you at Elaine that you don't have the heat? Lucky you I say. Terrible news of Alan's illness. I said we could pretend we are nurses and get him all better lol. I have to have injections in my eyes. I had laser surgury but there is still some leakage. Being diabetic will do it. Anyone ever hear of a needle in the eyes? I start Sept 15 and must go once per month every month. WOO HOO....NOT!!!!Saying prayers for all who are not well also and those poor souls in Colorado. A terrible shame. Not even safe at a movie theatre.Take care and try to keep cool!Gwen]

[Hi everyone......especially my buddy Anita I met last year at the Oshawa show. I am not going to the Orillia show because it does cost 50.00 more than at the larger venues. Larger venues are about 100.00 and we fanclub members get excellent seats. Smaller ones only hold so many so they have to make their money. For my hubby na d I to go would be 300.00 for tickets, over 3 hour drive and a hotel. I was lucky enough to see him in April so I hope I don't regret it when September comes. Everyone enjoy your concerts with Alan!!!Gwen]
