I'm looking for support from my fellow AJ Fans this morning ...and since this is "off-topic" it might be OK to post here.
I am trying to help my cousin and his wife win an online contest through Facebook. All you need to do is check into my Facebook Page and the link is there to "LIKE" their dogs. Their poochies are the 2 german short haired pointers. Rather urgent as the contest closes today at 4:00. Those of you on Facebook will understand. My Facebook name is "Mama Cahoona"...So easy. I want this so bad for them...she has had some serious health issues in the past year and they could certainly use the break. So happy to hear that AJ will be playing in Ontario once again.  We are expecting our third grandchild on Sept. 27 so at this time AJ will be have to put on the back burner. Thankfully we were able to see him twice in the past year so I can live with that. Those of you who got tickets are in for a GOOD TIME as always.  Kudos to the team at the fan club for ensuring that we fans get great seats always.  Best of luck to y'all on winning the meet and greet as well...Tracey in Northern, Ontario.

Agreed Allison. Haven't heard of anyone who went to Sudbury winning the meeet & greet OR front row. However a friend of a friend was stopped on her way in by AJ's crew...asked where they were sitting and were told they looked like a "fun bunch" and gave them front row tickets. I don't have a problem with that - lucky for them - however these were all younger gals (picked by the  crew) and given AJ's following of fans perhaps they should sometimes they should  pick some middle aged fans. I was quite happy with the seats that we had...first 3 rows were able to stand in front of the stage all night so it worked for me. Overall given all the fans that AJ has I think the Club does an amazing job of taking care of us.

 :)I've been checking the Forum daily anticipating this news...CD is ordered...and now we wait. Thanks to the Fan Club for making this opportunity available. AJ has the best Fan Club ever!!

The opening act Ryan Laird is a real talent...you will enjoy him. Alan did not disappoint...he seems to be so much more at ease on stage with these last few shows. For those of you who are able...make your way to the stage...he signs plenty of autographs when he's back for the encore. Highlight of the night was getting our CD autographed. What a memory. Alan you are a class act and I have to say the best just keeps getting better all the time!!]

Good Morning Allison:
Beyond excited NOW...today is the day for our concert in Sudbury. I just called the venue and our seats are in Row E so now I can breathe again. No meet and greet but I'm thinking we'll be able to get up to the stage. Will be bringing my sharpie and the latest CD "Freight Train" and hoping for an autograph. Time to get to work now...cheers...we'll be leaving shortly!

Allison we've also been to several concerts in a few different states as well as here in Ontario. We were fortunate one year to attend the Fan Club Party in Nashville and had 3rd row seats. We've been fans since "Here in The REal World" and have followed AJ's career from early on.  I won't be happy until I can cross "Meet AJ in Person" off my bucket list...lol
I doubt I'll ever grow tired of his story-telling music.  He's one of the "stars" who has remained humble and down to earth. What the heck--maybe I'll invite him and Denise for a barbecue WHEN I get to meet him...lol

Allison I'm with, maybe they haven't made the draw yet for M&G. I will be rushing home at lunchtime (can't check email at work) hoping to have an email from AJ. Like you I've been checking constantly for some news...but still haven't given up hope.  I'm surprised that nobody has posted they've won M&G or Front Row.  What kind of fan would not want to "brag" on this forum.  Does anybody on here have any idea how many people are selected for M&G for each show?

Agreed...we've had a long wait for sure. The night we ordered our tickets for the Sudbury Show there was a glitch with the AJ website...stayed up till after 3:00 a.m. trying to access the site which never materialized.  Finally got thru about 7:45 a.m. so even since I've been fretting about what kind of seats we will have. We're going to the Sudbury Show and I have no doubt we will not be disappointed.

We'll be going to the Sudbury show on the 19th and likewise...no news. I'm so happy to hear that I'm not the only crazy one who is checking their email so very frequently...and yes...my heart skipped a beat today as well when I saw the presale for PA...oh well.....as they say no news is good news and there's been only one person who has won so hoping winners are yet to be notified...In any event, we will enjoy the show!!

Just wondering if any of you have purchased your seats thru the Fan Club and if you've been notified yet as to where your seats are?? I haven't heard anything yet and getting just a "itty bitty" anxious here.  Seeing him in Sudbury on April 19...yee haw!

Love the new single..can't say enough about it. Does anybody have any idea when the new CD "might" be released? Historically, how long after the single is out is the CD released??  Just a little anxious & excited..that's all!!

Here in Canada, or at least our cable provider does not have GAC. Likewise, I miss the old TNN where it was actually about country music and not like CMT of today which for the most part is comedy shows. Does anyone have any idea if/when this show will be rerun on another network. Will it be possible for us to view it online? Being a long-time fan I can't get enough about Alan and his Family. Would love to be able to see this in depth interview. Prayers are going their way, sounds like they may need them at this time in their lives. Keeping the faith.
