the first 4 rows were allowed to go to the stage before Alan came on last Sat.
nite in Springfield.  I know of a fan in Row 6 who made it up there and
also my 2 friends who went with me were in Row 10 in the other front
floor section and they made it up there at some point, too.
It all depends on security...   Enjoy... enjoy!!!

and singing almost non-stop, it was amazing!

Is anyone using the GOOD TIME signs these days?
I only did that once with Terry from Cali and my friend would only hold
one of 2 signs so I had 3. It was a mess...   Alan came over to us to give
us a 'look'... LOL   I hid behind one of the letters when he stared down
at us...to see who was messing up.  hee hee

I didn't think ahead but then I was standing right at the stage and people
would have taken your spot if you gave an inch there...plus everyone
practically had a camera in hand...

Dani I hope you met up with some AJ fans...usually wearing one of his shirts...makes it easier.
I wore one of his shirts that our dil sent for Cmas a couple of seasons ago...she found it on eBay.

We saw Alan and the Strayhorns last nite in Springfield, IL.   Sure hope you return here and share yours

Congrats on getting the fc m&g ops!!  I love it when those who win m&greets come back and let the fan club know where we all can see it.   I'm still hanging onto the high feeling from mine it was in 2010.

AJ is a special man and I'm glad we share the affections for him and his Strayhorns.
