Wow, Tom - Congratulations on winning the guitar signed by Alan.  I have some autographed items that I treasure but that would have been like getting a car!!  You are very fortunate.

I always ordered seating from the fanclub and had rows 4 through 13 for the 3 concerts we were at.  There was Pontiac Silverdome, Casino Windsor and Mohegan Sun in CT. with my daughter.  All seats were great and not so close to the stage that you were mobbed by those standing up in front of you.  I have to wait now for Alan to come back to Michigan somewhere with an elevator because I am handicapped.  I will wait and hope I guess.  He is worth waiting for.  We had no trouble with blaring sound.  It was just wonderful!!!!!

I also feel Alan has been slighted over the last few years.  It's time they put him into the Hall of Fame.  He's got every award possible and is still going strong way over 20 years.

To the MI people.  Have a wonderful time at the concert.  It is too far for me to travel with my arthritis and poor balance problem.  I need a place with an elevator for sure and live in the Northern Suburbs of Detroit.  I had tickets to Windsor but that got cancelled.  I'll have to wait.  It sure is hard.  I saw his once at the Palace and once at the Windsor Casino.  Too long in between.  Everyone wants Alan.  I'm happy for him that his career is still booming.  Enjoy with my love.

Hope you get a meet and greet.  Never had one of those either.

The September Calendar is spectacular!!!  That picture is fantastic.  I love to open my desktop and see handsome Alan looking at me.  It wonderful!!!!

Hi Friends:  I just picked up the September Calendar.  That is the hunkiest picture of Alan I have seen in a long time.  I'm an old lady and he makes my heart tick a bit harder.  Wow!!  That's the best in a long time.  He looks great with that black mode all around.  I'll take it and call myself very lucky.  If I can't have him in my MIchigan, at least I can have his image.  i can play his music all day long.  Thanks. Cindy is a class act ALL THE WAY!!!!

This is one of the few albums I own where Alan did not write most of the songs.  I like this song but can't say that I "love it".  I would like to have seen "She's an Angel" on single.  It would have begun at #1.  I have the album so get to enjoy all of the songs but wish Alan would come out with another album with all the songs written by him.  That sounds so easy of course but it takes plenty of time and I appreciate that.  I'll buy anything Alan puts out.  I dearly love him and the Strayhorns.  I will miss Mark.

The fans that say Country radio is ignoring "Real Country" music are quite right in my opinion.  We need more Alan and more George.

I agree with you Jeri that you can tell which songs Alan wrote.  They're just special and from the heart and HIT YOUR HEART.  I do also like the one by his Adam Wright.  He has a family flare that the Jacksons have.  I with Alan would do a few more upbeat songs - the ones the audience wants to get out in the aisle and dance to.  I'm too old, but others would do so. 

I'm still waiting for him to come back Detroit way or Windsor Casino.  I miss him so.  I have not seen him since Mohegan Sun in CT. while visiting my daughter. I saw him the first time at the Palace of Auburn Hills.  I'll remember that forever. I will miss Marc and hope he will be ok.

You are the sweetest nurse this side of heaven.  You would have to write to Cindi but there are many of us who cannot get around well who would love to see Anan.  What impresses me is that you would think of something so wonderful for this client.  I would give up any tickets I had so this woman could see Alan.  I am still waiting for him to come back to Windsor, which  had to get cancelled because I am a Senior and have difficult arthritis and need an elevator because I am in pain and  can't walk far or stand for long. 

If this lady could have her wish, I'd give up anything and many fans would do the same.  You probably will not be able to succeed but may God bless you for even thinking of the possibility.  You will have a high place when you get to Heaven.  Pray my dear.  Faith can move mountains.  It has for me in times of saddness.

Thanks for letting us know about George.  I will put him at the top of my prayer list and hope that God will see him live longer before he takes him to his reward.  George we just don't want to let you go.  Your fans understand when you are sick and must cancel a concert or so.
