I opened up this topic, so anyone who wins either or both, Front row Seats and M&G can post here that are going to either or both the Hamilton and London shows in Ontario, Canada.  I wish everyone good luck.

Does anyone know who will be opening up for Alan at the Hamilton or London shows?

Countrygirl24, I am going to the London show too.  Good luck with your M&G.  If you win, it will be only for one because you are only allowed one per each membership year.  At least that is what it was before.  I believe I put my name into the M&G for the London show only.  I am not going to the Hamilton show, but I put my name in for Front Row seats.  I thought I would try because  I will be in that area.

Cahoona, I sent an email to the Fan Club.  You will not find out your seats until you pick them up at the venue of where he is playing.  I know what you mean about being anxious.  I would like to know ahead of time and know I actual have a seat and not get there and don't have them for me.  The seats I am getting are ones I won from the Fan Club for doing the Fan Review writeup.  They will probably be the 1st or 2nd row in the stands.  I believe that is where most of the ones are when you win them from the FanClub.  Wherever the seats will be, you will always have a great time.  Enjoy.  Anita

Alan sounded and looked good on Jay Leno.  I was also disappointed Jay didn't talk to Alan afterwards.  Looking forward to his new CD and his concert April 20th in London, Ontario.

My husband sent the fan club a letter and mentioned how big of a fan I am of Alan.  We were going to a concert in early October, before our wedding day on the 17th of October.  He asked if there was a way that Alan could congratulate us at his concert.  By means of, a congratulations message on the big screen,  a personal message said by Alan to me or a backstage pass to meet Alan after the show. Their reply was that there are so many fans of his that would like something special to be done for them at a concert.  If they do it for one, they would have to do it for all. It was just impossible.  But this happened almost 14 years ago.  Maybe they will now. So I would send a letter to the fan club and try.  Good luck.  Anita

Hi Gwen,  I hope your results come back as good news.  It would be nice for you to go to Nashville.  There is lots to see.  My husband and I went there about 15 years ago on a motorcycle trip.  We had a great time.  We took a bus trip and went past Sweet Briar.  We went to the Ryman, Grand Ole Opry and went inside the Gaylord Opryland Resort. It is worth seeing.  You will not be disappointed.

Thanks for the tips Keely and cath1458.  We are leaving early in the morning and are staying at the Holiday Inn Express, which is not too far away.  We can walk from there.  I put my name in for M&G.  It would be nice to win that again.  Maybe I will see both of you there.

My prayers are out there for Elaine.  Hopefully she will be feeling better soon.
Also, for all the families that had their homes destroyed and have lost family members in those terrible tornadoes that happened across the border from us.

I love the steel guitar, too.  One of my favorite instruments.
