Hello Everyone,
It has been awhile since I have been on here.
Harriet - I hope you are feeling alot better now. Glad to hear you had a great time at your nephew's wedding.
JeanB - WOW. 42 years. That is worth celebrating. May seems like the month for a few of us. My husband proposed to me on May 8th - 15 years ago. We have been together for just over 19 years now. That even seems a long time ago now. Time sure does fly. Wish your daughter good luck at the Olympics and have yourself a good time. Glad to hear that your wife's knee surgery was successful.
BHR - The day you met your husband is my birthday. That must of been a very special day. (hahaha) It is so nice to hear that people are still together for that long. It is worth celebrating. I met my husband Jan 12th, 1993. It was a Tuesday evening at The Corral. It is a country bar in town. It was lady's night. I remember it quite well. But our first actual date wasn't until Sunday January 31st. What was so ironic about this. In early December of 1992, a woman from my work mentioned to me that she would want me to meet her ex brother-in-law. She was thinking that we would be good together. But I told her that I did not want to go on any blind dates because they never worked out too well. I mentioned that December would not be good for me because I was very busy with Christmas and all. We were going to set something up sometime in the middle of January and go out with many friends and she would bring him. But that never happened because I met him that night at the bar, not knowing he was the one she was going to have me meet. When we figured it out that night after talking with each other, we had a nice chuckle. I would say that is fate. We have been happily together since, with a few bumps along the way.(haha). I hope you had a great time at the AJ concert. Last night I just went to a Johnny Reid concert. It was fabulous. That man is a very good entertainer. He went into the audience from front to back and up into the stands and shook hands with many people. He sat on some of the older ladies laps. He even danced with a few. He even mentioned that before the show he had a M&G and he got to meet a lady who has been with her husband 76 years. So he dedicated the next song to her. It was called Thank You. What a beautiful song. His wife and kids were there too. It was a great show.
Elaine - I am sorry to hear about your son. My prayers and thoughts are there for you that everything will be okay.
Well I better go. Talk to you soon.
Anita

Quesnelbo, I was just beside you in the front row of the stands. There was four of you in wheelchairs. Two in the front row and two behind them. Also, you all had someone with you. I can only remember one of the ladies in the front row in a wheelchair. She and the person she was with both had Alan Jackson shirts. They were not the ones sitting at the far right, but beside them. Was that you? I did not get to meet anyone that I talk to on here, which is too bad. Maybe next time.

It sounds like everyone had a great time at all the shows. Like always, I enjoyed it very much. Now I have Johnny Reid to look forward to on May 10th and Neil Diamond on June 26th.
I have always downloaded my pictures to facebook and then sent that link to here. But for people to see them, they have to be your friends on facebook. This probably works for any kind of site your on. e.g - Twitter, Skype, etc.

Alan did it again. Awesome show in London. My seats were the first row in the stands, close to the stage. They were great seats. This was the only one of Alan's concerts that I went to, that people actually were crazy enough to jump on stage. Eventually, security was there to take them off the stage.

Yesterday morning, a man that my husband works with was killed riding his bicycle to work. He was 59 years old. He leaves behind his wife and threee children. My thoughts and prayers go out to them. It is times like this when you think live each day to the fullest because you do not know what tomorrow brings.

Hi Rick. Welcome to the Fan Club. I live in Canada, the southern part of the province of Ontario. I have been an Alan Jackson fan since I saw him on the TV program "Austin City Limits" in 1999. The song was Here In The Real World. I got hooked. I have every AJ CD and his videos. I have alot of tapings of TV talk shows he has been on in the beginning of his career. I have been to 8 concerts of his and have enjoyed them all. I will be seeing him again in 3 days in London, Ontario. Looking so forward to it. These are tickets I won a couple of years ago for writing a Fan Review in his magazine.

Allison, I won a M&G a couple of years ago at Casino Rama. You have about a minute with him. They take a picture of you with him. Then you get a picture of him when you leave and it has the instructions on the back to let you know where you can view that picture of the two of you. You can download it and also order one. I love my picture with him. I took it with me to the next concert I went to and had him autograph it at the stage at the end of his concert. I now have this picture in the family room and will cherish it for a long time. Allison, are you going to the London show too? I phoned the John Labatts Centre to find out if they could tell me my seats. They looked up my name and could not find it. I told them that I won them thru the Fan Club and they said they usually don't get them until closer to the date. So then I sent an email to Cindy, president of the Fan Club, and she told me I was on the Guest List and that I will not know until about an hour before the show. I was just not wanting to drive that far and find out that I cannot get in. I wish we could find out earlier.
