Just now seeing this...Ms. "A" and OTHERS.....thank you so much f/thinking of our state.
I made a little comment on the other page regarding Aj's efforts to help out in our state of "TRAUMA"
Have 1 neice/1 nephew at The University of Alabama not to mention many friends.....as that killer tornado came barreling through.
I watched it on The Weather Channel live as it was going through via the web cam that was set up. I actually got down in the floor of my home screaming and crying as I saw that MONSTER going through the town I'd just been to...2 weeks prior at A-Day game at Bryant-Denny stadium. I was on the phone w/my first cousin as she was watching it too, just crying away, saying "Pray, pray, pray"........ her daughter is a student there; I call her my neice since I'm so close to them! Luckily, she was on the U of A campus in the basement.
Again, I got so many personal e.mails from many of y'all here. I watched a funnel cloud go over the huge field here on the river where I live. Thank the Lord it didn't form a in full shape but went on to materialize and kill about 3 here in Autauga County.
Y'all are some special people. I just wanted you to know that; and I thank you f/caring f/all the others that were left w/nothing...

First thank you, AJ#1COFAN .....f/the links.
What first comes to my mind is a phrase my first cousin nickname "E.tow - Etto" use to say some 20-25 yrs ago, "Good Googily Lou" those are some fine pictures!!
Thank you so much Aj f/taking the time f/your efforts to help out what I call RELIEF TRAUMA IN our great State of Alabama. Having lived in T.town f/five years while attending college; it is unbelieveable what this storm did to such a beautiful town. My little garage appt. was right in the path and GONE.
My Bloodhound, Hybart will be taking a trip up there w/Mother, me, in the next couple of weeks strapped down w/a wagon.
Again, Sir Aj, thank you. I know you love our state....as you do many others too.

I NEVER think of Aj not getting any airtime about ANYHING in regards to his career.... ALL my friends down here are always telling me "Oh I know you've heard that GE commericial"..... Yes ma'am....I mean just think about how many times in our life we have said, "Well did you have a good time at the family reunion, concert, getting your Botox w/your fav dr., fishing, walking Hybart, seeing JAMEY JOHNSON 5 times & counting"....... WHAT A hook of a song we've said all our lives!! Good Time...
Just like he said in an interview w/STORMIE(SP), "Everything else is just gravy" or something like that.....
He's concerts are sold out in Australia...great day, I could go on and on!! The only sad part is he didn't decide to go to Australia in March when I was down there f/2 wks March 2009!
Melanie, Hello! Long time, no see! I agree with you, I think Alan doesn't worry about airplay as much as we do. he is selling records and been in the business for so long. His staying power shows me, he knows the business aspect of it.. Melanie, One comment you made about us saying "Have a Good Time" in our lives , so true but I can't write songs or put music to them like Alan lol. another I wont be saying is "having botox" , I'm allergic to everything ha! a shame Alan didn't go in 2009 when you were there, but Oh My! I remember he was having a Meet and Greet with me , so I am glad he waited now,,,, however that is about the time when my Mom died, that November 2009. I needed that meeting with Alan in October 2009, we were in MS staying, when my mom was almost gone.. It really helped me saying hello to Roger and being last in a line to meet Alan. I was in awe of my favorite C. Singer and I felt such peace standing next to him. Before that I was a nervous wreck and then all smiles with him near.. a Dream come true! we got to take my sister and her husband with us.. She had just been diagnosed with cancer and it really brought Joy to her! Melanie, we had noted that driving to MS for the last ten years( we have a Country house there too)and going byo Alabama, they play Alan so much more than Florida, especially AJ's older work.. I wrote down the stations and AL played him most. we also found a great AJ layout of Cracker Barrel goodies at Cullman and my husband had to drag me out of there.lol I managed to get lots, especially the music box..Love it! Nice to see you Post Girl! Jeri-MS JERI>z>>zSO SORRY TO READ ABOUT YOUR MOTHER....MAYBE I ALREADY KNEW AND JUST FORGOT......YES, I'LL SAY JUST ABOUT ANYTHING THESE DAYS AND MUST HAVE BEEN IN A FUN WORLD TALKING ABOUT BOTOX!! LOVE ALL THE AJ ATTENTION HE SEEMS TO BE GETTING THESE DAYS!!!! GREAT SEEING YOU HERE TOO.
