Guess we are not smart enough to know how to sell our tickets since we cant pick them up till day of show  and at will call.        Just not able to travel at this time so well miss this show.

Dee. . .and anyone else who finds themselves in Dee's predicament for one reason or another, if you have a potential buyer or know someone who wants to buy your tickets or are going to the concert in your place, as long as you know and have the full name of that person, you may and can contact Cindy via email or phone, inform her of your situation and give her the full name of the person who will be now using your ticket(s). She will help you change the name on the ticket(s) from your name to the person you sold or gave it/them to. Make sure also to let this person know to tell the ticket window teller that your tickets were bought from the fan club. I was in this predicament Sept. of 2011 when my father-in-law had a stroke and I thought my family and I won't be able to go to Alan's concert (glad we were able to go as my youngest and autistic son won a M&G with Alan then) and this is what Cindy informed me. Hope this helps.

To those of you who already have ticket(s) for the November scheduled finale to the late George Jones' FINAL TOUR concerts in Nashville or were planning to go, the show will still go on as a tribute event, "Tribute To George Jones". Nancy announced at George's website that everyone is asking if the show will still go on so she made contact with the artists who originally signed up for the final concert in Nashville and quite a few of them has agreed to still be there. Although Alan is not mentioned in the article as one of them, I'm almost sure of it that he still will be at the show too. Visit the link below for further info and check daily for updates such availability of more tickets to the show and list of other artists participating. Hoping this will also be broadcast on tv for those of us who won't be able to be there.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one having that same posting problem. It really annoys me to no end and gets very frustrated by it. My case is, I keep getting kicked back to the login page. Sometimes it remains that way for a week sometimes I get lucky that it corrects itself the very same day it happens. Wish I know what's gong on. Maybe we need a new and fresh forum?!?

From Taste of Country website. . .

http://tasteofcountry.com/george-jones-final-hours/

Nancy, George's wife, spoke up for the first time on his final hours. Even as he was dying, George never lost his wit and sense of humor. After reading the article, I agree and believe the funeral service he was given was exactly what he would have wanted, filled with music and celebration of his life from family, friends and fans who paid respect to him and honored him there today.

I teared up during all performances and my heart ached for Nancy as I watched her wept. Alan's singing of "He Stopped Loving Her Today" at the end of the service touched me deeply as he took his hat off and placed it on his heart while he sang the last line and seemed to be looking at Nancy.

My deepest and heartfelt sympathy to Nancy, family and friends. You're all in my thoughts and prayers.

Go Rest High Up On The Mountain, George Jones! You are sorely missed but never will be forgotten.

Thank you all for the birthday greetings and kind words. It feels real nice to be remembered on my birthday. JEANB, thnak you for remembering it and starting the thread. That is so nice of you to do this. For me, my birthday fun actually started last Friday, the 26th, being at Alan's concert in Atlanta. THANK YOU, ALAN!!!!!! Saturday we did a little bit of shopping. Sunday, and since we were having a thunderstorm, we stayed home and got to watch online our favorite baseball team win their game. . .they won 3 games in a row last last night so hope they keep the streak going. Also, I received an email this day from a dear freind of mine from my country whom I have not heard from a very long while wishing me a happy birthday, among other things. And, of course, last night after my son and hubby got home from work we celebrated with a great and wholesome dinner at a buffet and salad restaurant. I ate too much, as usual. LOL! This has been one of the best birthday I ever had.

Thank you all so much again. Truly appreciated it. I feel real blessed having great "cyber" friends like all of you. Love you all!
11  General Category / Live Show and Tour Discussion / Re: Preferred Seating! on: April 30, 2013, 12:10:00 am
Some concert tickets go to ticketmaster to.        The preferred seating tickets go to ticketmaster and    Music  one live.               All you have to do is look at the more beside the show you want to attend and it well say what time to look for the preferred seat  or fan club ticket.

Dee, Music One Live is a division of Ticketmaster, so when you purchase tickets from MOL, you're essentially purchasing it from Ticketmaster. I do understand what you're saying, however. Mostly now, though, the fan club uses MOL and redirect its members straight to Ticketmaster if there are some issues with ticket sales from MOL.

Scoot01 & KimboAJ2, yes, there's been a change to the Preferred Seating ticket purchasing system. It will direct you to Music One Live and from there you can purchase your ticket(s) by either picking your own seat(s) or chance it on pre-picked seat(s). You will have to register first at that site before you can make your purchase. To save you time and ensure that you get good. . .or relatively good. . .seat assignments, go to the link below and register now. There's no guarantee that even with you having already pre-registered that you will not be ask to register again, so, play it safe and get to the ticket(s) sale site a little early to give you reasonable time to register and not lose out on the good or better seat assignments.

13  General Category / Alan Music Discussion / ALERT: Ali Jackson Victim Of A Hoax on: April 29, 2013, 01:24:48 pm
This is for those of you who, like me, does not have a Facebook account. A fake Alan Jackson account was created there with a message that is a HOAX. Be forewarned and do not believe it or response to it. Read it all here:

http://tasteofcountry.com/alan-jackson-daughter-accident-hoax/

Here's the message as posted:

A fathers worst nightmare is knowing his daughters well being is in jeopardy and knowing he has no power over whats happens to her except through the power of prayer. All of your familys prayers would be much appreciated at this time. Today my middle daughter Ali was in a car crash but she seemed to have no major injuries, an hour ago we were eating dinner out and Ali began to cough up blood and collapsed we are now in a hospital waiting room, all we know is that Ali had a slow internal bleeding that the doctors did not catch. Please pray for my middle daughter.

Who ever are the people that did this are sick. I'm thoroughly disgusted.

You're welcome, All! As promised, I found a You Tube video of Alan's tribute to George at the Atlanta concert. This is a better one although it's just focused on Alan. . .the big screen in the background is not showing. Watch it in full screen for better viewing, as usual. But the way, this is with an article.
