I can't believe that I might just be able to see AJ again in Maine. It is a 3 hour drive verses the one 1 hour drive to the Verizon Center but worth the trip. I would love to bring my grandson. His parents are having a new baby about that time so maybe they would let him come with us. I was so totally smitten with him after seeing him up close.
I think I mentioned this before but it is worth repeating. When I picked up my concert tickets the last time, the clerk said, " Alan Jackson treats his fans the best of any other ...." I think so too!

Hi Alanfan from Michigan,I love the song DRIVE also. It reminds me of my husband and his father and their old boat and cars. I can't begin to explain how much I enjoy listening to AJ talk, sing and the concert was wonderful. I have a lot of photos from the concert but I can't figure out how to upload them here.

GAC is interviewing AJ and talking about his video's. We were wondering about his tattered jeans and he said that he wore them for the Chattahoochee video and from then on he wore them. My husband really wanted to know about that ....I love the way he just gives information about himself and he is so humble. I wonder if THE COLLECTION of videos is for sale?

I haven't been back for a week or so and just read about AJ selling his mansion. We had the privilge of seeing his house on a tour of Nashville last August.
As for the standing and the dancing, I have no problem with that unless you are 6 feet tall. It is the WAVING OF THE HANDS OVER THE HEAD THE ENTIRE TIME,that personally bothers me. However, I must say, I got over it and concentrated on the beautiful sight up on the stage. I would not change my seat for anything, and I would have stood and danced too except for the people behind me were even older than me. So next concert , would love the same seats , it was fantastic. Made me a fan for life.

I would like to respond to the person from NH (not me) about the standing without regard to those sitting behind you.
When we saw CHER at the Verizon Center row 12 the entire audience seemed to be standing the entire time.
We were in row2 center , Thursday night, so that means everyone was standing in front of us in the area called row1. It is not so bad the standing as the constant waving the hands in the air distracting those behind them. On top of that 4 young folks with cowboy hats were standing beside my husband totally blocking his view and I am sure the people behind them. We had no choice but to stand unless we wanted to look at the WIGGLES.
The show was great and I accepted the distraction after awhile. There is nothing to do about the arena construction as it is used for multiple events. I have been to the Mohegan and the seating is much better.
If Alan would like to come to the Rochester Music Theater or the Portsmouth Theater he would be most welcome. Smaller venue but great acoustics.
All I can say is I would do it all over again tomorrow.

If I wasn't so tired, we got home after midnight, I would drive to Connecticut tonight and go to the concert again. I need to figure out how to post some photos too. I would say the only disturbing thing at the event is the lack of consideration by those in the front row standing and waving their arms over their head, non stop, to the complete disregard of anyone and 4 young folks who stood up the entire time and the older lady behind them was about 5 feet tall. I don't mind the dancing and the standing but there were some other people in the arena , believe it or not, right behind them. It was only a couple of girls that were inconsiderate but if they are standing right in front of you.......well you get it. Of course I would go again , immediately. I love AJ more than ever.

:)Last night at the Verizon Arena in Manchester, NH, was so much more than I expected. I would go and will go to another AJ concert as soon as possible . AJ talks to his audience and tells you how his songs came to be. Of course our seats could not have been better. Alan Jackson is someone you would love to have for a neighbor. Then add Josh Turner. Definitely got your money's worth. I have hundreds of photo's too. I hope AJ will come back to NH again. We have beautiful lakes to launch his boat in the summer when it is too hot in Nashville.

:)What a fantastic 15th anniversary present.
I am new to this fan club and when I read the AJ's biography I was so impressed with him I liked his music even more. One of my favorites is Pop a Top.
We don't have Cracker Barrel here in New Hampshire but when we go to Nashville which is every August we always go to to the CB there. We took the tour of Nashville and the bus was pretty empty so the tour guy took us past Alan's house.
I am pretty excited to be going to my first AJ concert.

General Category / Live Show and Tour Discussion / Manchester, NH ticket sale midnight tonight confusion

I am new here and have been trying to figure out the steps to buy tickets tonight at 12 midnight . Is it Central time? If so then it will be One AM Eastern.
Do I go to the store first? Do I go to "tickets" and then what happens? I have put all of my credit card info into the store, so I am assuming I must go there to pay.
The tickets go on sale to the gp at noon tomorrow March 19 and I will be working so that will not work too well.
I would appreciate any help .
